Casa Latina is a non-profit agency that addresses the needs of the local Spanish-speaking community in the Roanoke Valley of Virginia. They are based in the City of Roanoke but their reach goes far beyond the city’s limits.

Central Virginia Farmworkers Initiative (CVFWI) seeks to empower workers to improve their quality of life by providing them with healthcare and educational resources and by advocating for their well-being.

Commonwealth Catholic Charities provides quality, compassionate human services to all people, especially the most vulnerable, regardless of faith.

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) helps people affected by humanitarian crises—including the climate crisis—to survive, recover and rebuild their lives.

The Office of Immigrant and Refugee Engagement (OIRE) offers a clear point of access for community resources and a welcoming front door for immigrant newcomers moving into or residing in the city of Richmond.

Re-Establish Richmond focuses on helping refugees settle into Richmond while maintaining ties to their home culture.

Sacred Heart Center supports the local Latino community through adult education and support programs. It also works alongside other community partners who share their vision of building a stronger community.

The Southside Community Development and Housing Corporation provides residential and commercial development, homeownership education and counseling, financial counseling and coaching, employment services, and supportive programs to low-income families throughout the Central Virginia region.
