Kimberly Griffin, Staff Attorney

Kimberly Griffin is a public interest attorney who joined The Community Tax Law Project in 2023, where she gladly serves and represents Virginia’s low-income taxpayers in their tax controversies at the state and federal level. Kim is a North Carolina native and a graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law. She studied at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Geology. Before moving to Virginia, she was a staff attorney at the Land Loss Prevention Project in Durham, NC, where she proudly provided legal representation and advocacy for North Carolina’s low-income farmers and landowners. Kim is licensed in North Carolina, Virginia, and before the U.S. Tax Court.
