The Community Tax Law Project's primary mission is to provide low-income Virginia taxpayers with pro bono representation in federal and state tax disputes. CTLP also provides start-up legal services to nonprofit organizations located in the Richmond and Central Virginia area whose mission in some way assists low-income individuals or provides a unique service to community needs.
This section will provide information on CTLP's low-income taxpayer clinic services, nonprofit organization services and special initiatives.
